This week the Racinfreeks went to Charlotte Motor Speedway for 133 laps of fast paced action. Zachary Hall started on the pole with a time of 26.964. Bryan Johnson started on his outside. On lap four the 41 car of Hart Green and the 25 of Corey Blevins got into each other going into corner number three causing a four car accident and bringing out the first caution of the night. During the caution the field came down pit road to get four tires and fuel. Jalen Parker won the race off pit road and took the lead. The green flag came back out on lap 8. On lap 10 Tyler Conroy and Jalen Parker battled for the lead. Tyler would get the lead and would end up leading 77 laps during this race. On lap 12 the 82 went for a ride through the infield grass but kept the car off the track and we stay green. The yellow flag came out again on lap 18 as 28 car driven by Bryan Johnson got bumped into the wall then spun through the infield grass.
The race would go back to green on lap 22 with Tyler Conroy leading the field. The 06 car of Tom Dreiling was almost wreck by the 49 car Driven by Shane Nicewonger when they hit each other exiting turn four. Green flag pit stops would start around lap 53. Soon after around lap 70 some cars would pit early to set themselves up for the end. Jalen Parker got a speeding penalty on lap 76.Once again cars would come down pit road for green flag stops around lap 92. The leader Tyler Conroy would pit on lap 95 right before a caution when Cedrick Hunter missed pit road.This caution would come in the middle of green flag pit stops.
We would return to green flag racing on lap 100. Bryan Johnson fought through the field all race to take the lead from Tyler on lap 102. The race would be clean and green the last 33 laps. Bryan Johnson stole the win from Tyler Conroy.Tyler would finish second tonight. Jalen Parker had a great first race in RacinFreeks finishing 3rd and battling back from a speeding penalty. Robert Moyer Jr would bring it home 4th. And rounding out the top five was Zachary Hall.
Zach also leads the standings by 18 points. Tyler Conroy is second in the standings. The next race is at Dover on June 10th.
